While a job is in progress, you can log your labor and materials as you go.
- Click on a Job in your dashboard to open the Job Details.
- Click on the Timesheet or Material tab (click on the more button if you do not see those labels).
You can also select Add Timesheet or Add Material from the Actions dropdown on the righthand side.
Labor
- Input the date and total hours. Optionally you can add the start and end time. This is recommended if you are entering overtime hours.
- If the hours should be applied towards a trip charge or if they qualify for the overtime rate, toggle those settings to Yes.
- Click Submit when you are done. You can also click Add Date to submit multiple line items at once.
Pro Tip! Using the Fyxt Mobile application you have the ability to use a timer to track your time on the job vs. entering your time manually.
Materials
- Input the Material Description, quantity, unit type, and unit cost. The total cost will be calculated automatically.
- You can also attach files such as an invoice or pictures of the materials.
- Click Submit when you are done. You can also click Add Material to submit multiple line items at once.
What's Next?
The manager will be notified of any timesheets or materials you have submitted, so they can review and approve.
