This tutorial guides you through managing teams effectively within Fyxt.

3. Building Teams

Teams in Fyxt are designed to be flexible. Any number of Managers, Engineers and Properties can be added, while maintaining granular configurations like property specific Engineer Rates or Manager Permissions.

4. Adding Managers

To add management to a team, select the Add/Create Manager button.

5. Inviting New Managers

If needed, you can also invite new Manager users when assigning management to a eam.

6. Adding Engineers

Engineers are added and managed from the Engineers tab of a team. You may assign or invite new Engineer users to any Team as needed.

7. Adding Properties

Properties are managed from the Properties tab. When assigning Properties to a team you may also assign by Property Group, streamlining the creation of teams aligned with existing portfolio structures. Note, a Property can only exist on one team at a time.

8. Manager Configurations

There are two ways to configure Managers assigned to a team. First is identifying a user as a Primary Manager of Properties within a team. Second is customizing their permissions within each Property of a team.

9. Identifying Primary Managers

Primary Managers of a team will receive all Job Notifications in the event that no Manager is directly assigned to a the Job. To identify a user as a Primary Manager for Properties under a team, select the desired Properties from the dropdown menu. Any Properties accidentally selected can always be removed.

10. Modifying Manager Permissions

A subset of Manager permissions can be customized for every Property assigned to a team. Changes made to these permissions are always local to the selected Property.

11. Engineer Configurations

There are two ways to configure Engineers assigned to a team. First is identifying a user as a Primary Engineer of Properties within a team. Second is customizing their rates for each Property of a team.

12. Identifying Primary Engineers

While Engineer users are normally restricted to viewing Jobs they are directly assigned to, Primary Engineers can view all Jobs in all Properties where they are identified as a Primary Engineer. They can also triage Jobs and assign other Engineer users as needed. To identify a user as a Primary Engineer for Properties under a team, select the desired Properties from the dropdown menu. Any Properties accidentally selected can always be removed.

13. Modifying Engineer Rates

The hourly rates for Engineer Labor can be customized by Property. Changes made to these rates are always local to the selected Property.

14. Property Configurations

Primary Managers and Engineers for each Property can also be configured at the same time. Simply select to Edit Primary Contacts for a property, and select the desired users. Your Manager and Engineer tabs will update accordingly.
