Approve a Tenant's Job Request

You can allow tenants to initiate job requests for manager-responsible jobs. Once you receive the notification, this is how you review and approve the request.

  1. Tenants can send job requests from an external web form, or from their internal tenant portal (if you invited them to use it).  Tenant requests will automatically be in the "Job Requested" stage until a manager reviews and approves the request. 
  2. Any managers associated with the property will receive an email that a new Job Request has been submitted for approval.
  3. The new job will appear in your Dashboard in the "New Requests" stage.  Click on the Job to review the job details.

If the tenant has uploaded an image, video, or voicemail, you can review these files under the "Files" section of the job details.

If you are not satisfied with the request, you can click "Reject".  You will be prompted to enter a note.

If you are ready to approve the request, update the following details:

  • In the Assignee dropdown, select yourself or another team member who will manage the job.
  • Select the Vendor or Vendors you will send the request to to complete the work or collect multiple bids.
  • Make any changes to the Job Details or check or uncheck any Job Settings.
